Varjo Launches Air-Gapped XR Systems for 2026
Varjo has revealed its updated 2026 products and launched Integrated XR Systems, a set of extended reality solutions for secure, disconnected environments. The company develops mixed reality technology for defence and professional use and adds the new systems to its lineup as fully tested, ready-to-use setups.
The Integrated XR Systems bring together the 2026 edition of Varjo’s XR-4 Series headsets, certified workstations, pre-installed software, bundled licences, and professional support services. Varjo aims this offering at defence programmes, system integrators, and enterprise users who require secure immersive environments.
Varjo explained that companies typically needed to source parts from various suppliers, test compatibility, install software, and manage support from multiple vendors to adopt virtual and mixed reality solutions. The Integrated XR Systems simplify this by providing a single platform that Varjo fully sets up and readies for use in secure networks.
Each system includes a choice of Varjo XR-4, XR-4 Focal Edition, or XR-4 Secure Edition headset, along with a Varjo-approved workstation, the XR Station. Varjo partners SCHENKER and Rave Computer manufacture the workstations. The package also includes the main XR software and tools, offline-usable licences, an extended warranty, and professional support from Varjo in Europe.
The bundled software environment provides Microsoft Windows 11 Pro, Varjo Base, Varjo Lab Tools, the NVIDIA App, Steam, SteamVR, sample demonstrations, and setup utilities. Varjo ensures pre-installation of all essential software, permitting users to deploy systems without internet access or additional downloads and to operate in secure or isolated environments.
Varjo confirms that Integrated XR Systems are now available as part of its 2026 product lineup. Users may request pricing and configuration details for the United States. In Europe, the Integrated XR System with the XR-4 headset starts at €24,990, while the XR-4 Focal Edition system starts at €29,990. Customers may also purchase the XR Station workstation separately, with European pricing starting at €8,990.
