Snap Shows Off New Brick Lane AR Immersion
Snap Unveils Brick Lane AR Immersion Experience

Augmented reality (AR) fans and tech-savvy shoppers will be able to try out the newest experiences this weekend, thanks to brands like Depop, Boots, and Cosmopolitan that are showing new AR features. Snapchat is putting on Snap Street, an interactive high street event that will happen in East London on Saturday and Sunday.

The venue, which is at Ely’s Yard on Brick Lane, will be turned into a virtual high street with shop fronts showing cutting-edge augmented reality experiences chosen by top brands. This event is a look into the future of shopping because it combines real and online shopping in a way that is both engaging and modern.

There is no charge to enter the event, which will only be open for one weekend, from October 19th to 20th. Anyone interested in how fashion, beauty, and technology touch each other should go.

With The Depop Claw Machine, Depop will bring its own style to Snap Street. People who play can win gifts like fashion, brand items, and special Depop goods. The Snapchat x Depop AR Mirror also lets guests become fully immersed in Depop’s AR experience. On Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m., people can work with Depop seller SantexSante to make free custom phone charms.

At the Boots pop-up, people can check out items from Milk, Made by Mitchell, and Beauty Crop, as well as other new and popular beauty brands. The Snapchat x Boots AR selfie mirrors also let shoppers try out different makeup looks. From 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Boots will have stations for fragrances, makeup, hair, and skin care. Professional hairstylists and makeup artists will help customers get ready for the weekend with goods from Drunk Elephant, Huda, Kerastase, and Kayali.

A pop-up store will be set up by Cosmopolitan so that people can get a free copy of the latest issue. People who come will also have the chance to be on the cover of Snapchat for the day using a special AR lens. If you want to know what it’s like to work at a top magazine, the Cosmopolitan team will be there to tell you. Also, on Saturday morning, Kelly Rose Marks, Alo Community Instructor, will lead a free yoga flow class for people of all skill levels.

People who shop at Snapchat’s Ghost Café will be able to get free coffee, and there will be lots of free chances to try out more AR technology that Snapchat has chosen.

Everyone will be able to go to Snap Street without a ticket. Saturday, October 19, from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, October 20, from 10 am to 4 pm. We will be there. This interactive experience is great for people who want to see how shopping will change in the future.
