Rezzil announces the official Premier League VR game for Meta Quest
First fully licensed Premier League VR game, ‘Premier League Player’, will soon be released, according to Rezzil, a virtual reality (VR) software company that specialises in sports gaming software for athlete training and game analysis. Rezzil and the English Premier League have a four-year relationship, which includes this development. Later this year, the game will only be available on Meta Quest platforms.
With the game, football fans will be able to get fully immersed in the action, taking to the virtual field and participating in matches at the famous stadiums of the Premier League. All 20 Premier League clubs will be represented, along with player likenesses, real-world stadium reconstructions, and accurate uniforms. The goal of including these components is to provide a football experience that is true and really immersive.
A crucial aspect of the game called “Moments” will place players in significant positions during matches when they must make critical passes, net important goals, and feel the intensity of major moments from the 2023–2024 campaign. With great care and attention to detail, every moment from actual Premier League matches is meticulously reproduced in virtual reality.
