Little Nightmares VR Altered Echoes Set for April 2026
Iconik developed Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes, and Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe publishes it. The game launches on 24 April 2026 for PSVR2, PC VR, and Meta Quest 2 and 3. This virtual reality instalment in the Little Nightmares series follows Dark Six on a journey linked to the wider narrative.
The game releases on PlayStation 5 via PSVR2, on PC through SteamVR and the Meta Horizon Store, and on Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3. It offers players a first-person adventure and puzzle experience set in the Little Nightmares universe. Bandai Namco states that the title may attract new players to the franchise while remaining connected to the established storyline.
The gameplay uses a first-person perspective and lets players move forward, interact with the environment, solve puzzles, avoid threats, and escape larger enemies. The VR-specific control system allows direct hand-based interaction for certain actions. Official information highlights new dangers in each chapter and details scenarios created for compatible VR headsets. The game retains the series’ focus on space, sound, and environmental obstacles.
In this game, players take the role of Dark Six, a dark character seeking a missing part of themselves. The journey passes through The Pale City and Transmission, building on earlier events. Bandai Namco says certain encounters change both the enemies and Dark Six’s state. The story connects to the wider franchise but does not follow previous structures exactly.
This release adapts Little Nightmares for virtual reality, supplying a first-person viewpoint. The game keeps core exploration and puzzle-solving in a horror setting. It presents the series’ themes in VR.
