One of the leading fashion brands in the world, Forever 21 is finally joining the metaverse. The brand is partnering with the metaverse company Virtual Brand Group to offer a unique immersive experience that will allow players to open their own Forever 21 shop inside the online multiplayer gaming platform, Roblox. In this experience, you will have a chance to set up your own fashion outlet in the Forever 21 Shop City and rule the vogue by creating your own designs and growing your own fashion business.
In this VR multiplayer game, you will have to compete with other stores to win the crown of “Top Shop” in the Forever 21 Shop World. An unprecedented amount of customisation options is available through the “Tycoon” mode of Roblox.
As your first task in the game, you will need to find and own a “physical” site to open your new venture. Each player will have to start with an empty glass store, which they will use as a blank canvas. The goal is to create an attractive shopping location for your consumers using cool architectural themes, such as FutureScape, Cottage Core, CyberPunk, Malibu Mansion, or Eco-Urban. You will have complete liberty to decorate and design your store by using unique furniture, artwork, light fixtures, and so on. You can even choose your own ambience music for your consumers to vibe with while they shop. For each completed task, you will get valuable reward points that will push you up the levels. You can also spend the points to buy new store displays and furniture from the Forever 21 Flagship store and upgrade your shop.
Once you have set up your store, now it is time to get wild with creativity. Your next task is to curate an inventory using stunning Forever 21 clothing and accessories. Stock up your shelves and dress up your mannequins, and you are ready to sell. You will also have to hire a team of non-playing characters (NPCs) to work in your store. But be prepared yourself to pitch in and do a bit of everything to keep things up and running.
To make the experience even more fun, Forever 21 will be releasing brand new collections regularly in both the metaverse and the real-world. The same items will be available as metaverse merch in Forever 21 Shop City, which players can buy for their Roblox avatars.
Forever 21 Shop City will also feature flagship stores by popular Roblox fashion influencers like Shaylo, KrystinPlays, and Sopo Squad. You will have to compete with them to win the Top Shop crown. However, you can enlist the help of Forever 21’s own fashion influencers such as @Builder_Boy, @OceanOrbsRBX, @Beeism, and @Jazzy_X3—the famous squad who collectively sold more than $70 million worth of avatar accessories within the game so far.
The 21st of each month will be marked as Forever 21 Day in Roblox. The game will be available on Android, iOS, and PC on December 21st this year.
