Celebrate the season finale with some satisfying titan-slaying in style.

When it comes to anime, there are very few shows as popular as Attack on Titan. The Japanese manga series written and illustrated by the legendary anime creator Hajime Isayama took the world by storm since it was adapted for TV. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, Attack on Titan tells the story of a time when the handful of people, the last representatives of humanity, dwell within giant walls for protection against the Titans, who are violent humanoids. However, a colossal Titan manages to breach the security wall and destroy the city. Unfortunately, Erene, the protagonist of the story loses his mother in the commotion. Vowing revenge, he joins the elite Survey Corps and proceeds to fight those evil humanoids, and eventually, becomes a celebrated Titan-slayer.

Originally aired in 2013. The show touches a variety of genres including action, adventure, and even political thrillers. However, at the core of the story, Attack on Titan celebrates the values of friendship, family, and human emotions. After 9 long years of successful journey, Attack on Titan is about to release its fourth and final season. As the world eagerly waits for the ending, it also makes the anime lovers a little sad to bid adieu to their favorite heroes.

The show became unprecedentedly popular due to its unique storytelling and beloved characters. But above all, Attack on Titan is celebrated for its sheer thrill. Fans say that it is absolutely terrifying to watch. Imagine then, how it would feel to watch it in VR?

To make the dreams come true, the final season of Attack on Titan is actually coming in VR. The free-to-play VR game is now available on Quest headsets. Those who have already seen it say that it is the closest thing to see and fight the Titans in real life. Not to forget that it is your only chance to visit the dystopic land in person, the place where you have so many memories and fantasies associated.

In this highly anticipated VR game, players will be put in the shoes of a member of the Scout Regiment. Further, they will be given the task of disposing of the humanoid threats and as the need arises, slaying the Titans using their own Omni-directional Mobility (ODM) gear. Developed by the remaining humans to battle the humanoids, this unique gadget features piston-shots grappling hooks that allow the players to fight in a 3D environment. The Scouts will also be armed with plug-in blades, the perfect equipment to slay the Titans. Using this equipment, players will navigate various open-world environments developed by recreating memorable locations from the show.

Furthermore, a recent update to the game adds more fun into the mix. This incorporates several new elements, including menu updates, new ODM stunts, a new ranking system, and much more to the existing experience.

Attack on Titan in VR is available on Meta Quest and PC VR for free. You will need to sideload the app onto your headset to play the game.
