Can you imagine a service that lets you visit, meet, shop, celebrate, and show your presence right from home? Well, it is possible through Proxgy’s smart helmet. A Delhi-based startup’s offering, it lets users book human beings who will perform real-world walks for them while the users stay at their home. Proxgy aims to offer a full-real world experience to its customers, and hence, they have created a smart helmet that has a 360-degree rotating camera. Placed in a VR powered helmet, this camera will present a live broadcast of 3D view.
The New Normal is Here, Be Everywhere
Proxgy wishes to provide a new dimension to people’s regular outdoor activity, with their inspiration being “The New Normal is Here, Be Everywhere”. Customers can witness 360 degrees of live audio and video via the camera positioned on top of the proxy person’s smart helmet, whom the customers book using their mobile application. Also, customers will control the HD camera on the top through their mobile app, which makes these smart helmets so extraordinary. The company uses patented technology for its purpose i.e. broadcasting live video and audio to provide its users the most advanced experience.
Real-time
Just as movement and real-time action are shown in video games, the firm also responds in real-time to its smart helmet camera with inputs and voice commands directed by its user. The superb mobile app sends the smart helmet camera’s live feeds to the user’s mobile, giving them an incredible experience to remember. On the virtual reality pattern, it can be witnessed on both big and small screens, making the trip to your home even more splendid.
Where it all began
The founder of Proxgy LLP, Pulkit Ahuja, said that it began as a dorm room service devised for the elderly and highly vulnerable individuals as a pilot in Delhi during the pandemic’s lockdown. Through it, these citizens who were highly vulnerable to the Coronavirus could remain at their home while their fitter and younger proxies explored the region for them, live, through a Whatsapp video call, assisting them in their daily chores.
Remarkable support
In its initial phase, the concept gained such remarkable support that Ahuja, also an inventor, serial entrepreneur, and owner of various patents, prepared it for different cities as well as verticals. At present, one can use the app for virtual travel, shopping, real-estate, remote KYC, old age care, car servicing, other sectors, and also for B2B and B2C services as well.
Exceptional and immersive augmented reality
Ahuja also said that such technological innovations have helped them develop an exceptional and immersive augmented reality experience for the users. The app now utilizes 360-degree rotation cameras on its smart helmets, VR head controlled camera movements, 3D viewing options, and one to various broadcasting capabilities to present the end-user the ultimate combination of the augmented and real worlds at their home.
The Proxgy app is presently functioning on a limited user base under the beta version. You can get the app from Play Store or visit their website.
