Game On, Saudi Arabia’s and the Middle East’s first sports and entertainment complex of its sort, just opened its doors in Riyadh’s Ishbiliya District.
According to Islam Gasser, CEO and partner of Game On, the brand is governed by the General Entertainment Authority.
Battle Karts and Game On, according to Gasser, are two firms that are being merged under one sports entertainment brand. Battle Kart, a Belgian racing firm, is the first to bring classic gaming arcade games like Mario Kart and Crash to life, which were popular among youngsters.
He added that Game On’s integrated sports kiosks mix eight athletic disciplines, including football, handball, and basketball.

4Steps did manage to entice the Belgian Battle Kart company, which has 26 outlets in Europe, to form a strategic collaboration to build outlets in numerous cities in Saudi Arabia. They intend to do it with the help of authority and its eagerness to support emerging and medium-sized businesses and provide the best entertainment experiences to all citizens, residents, and tourists.
Creating unique sports recreational activities in line with Saudi Vision 2030 is the business’s mission.
When it comes to kart racing, BattleKart is the first of its kind to integrate AR technology with gaming experiences. It contains games like BattleSnake, which is based on the popular Snake mobile game, BattleFoot for football fans, and BattleColor, in which participants aim to cover the tracks with their team’s colours. The circuit has 12 karting players who may race each other for 15 minutes in four distinct scenarios for SR120 ($32).
The Belgian Embassy’s trade and investment counsellor, Adrian Lacroix, noted that this move is beneficial for Saudi Arabian investors, especially considering the country’s strong video gaming culture.
Lacroix said that his team believed it was a fantastic idea to establish the facility here since gaming is so popular in Saudi Arabia and it ties in nicely with Saudi Vision 2030. Currently, eighty percent of Saudis are thought to be gamers. This is an extremely popular and unique kind of entertainment that is particularly aimed at this demographic.
Larcroix’s position includes aiding businesses in conducting operations in a way comparable to Saudi businesses. Their goal is to attract Saudi investment to Belgium and vice versa.
The Trade Promotion Agency of Belgium, in collaboration with the Belgian Embassy, is holding a trade mission in Riyadh from March 3-6. A corporate group from Belgium and Luxembourg will arrive. The foreign trade trip will concentrate on technology businesses, and agreements will be inked during LEAP.
