ImagineAR Signs AR Partnership Agreement with Football Team Valencia CF

ImagineAR Inc., known for its augmented reality works that enable companies to develop their AR mobile campaigns, has recently announced their partnership with Valencia CF. The two-year agreement involves providing the Spanish football club’s AR platform for fan engagement.

Valencia CF, a renowned name in La Liga, the top professional Spanish football division, has conquered the league six times. The club has also been a part of the European Champions League many times in the last few years. Anil Murthy, the club’s President, has said that ImagineAR will allow them to strengthen their connection with the fans, and its credit goes to the firm’s magnificent mobile augmented reality. The immersive experiences will lead to fun and excitement that can also be shared with other fans on the different social media platforms.

Murthy further said that they are happy to be the first La Liga club to include ImagineAR into their web-based communications platform. Valencia CF’s Chief Digital Innovation Officer, Franco Segarra, talked about how the team has been working tirelessly on virtual innovation since the last three years to get closer to their fans and present innovative experiences to the football lovers. The latest launch of their ‘VCF Innovation Hub’ showcases its commitment to adapting technologies to strengthen their club.

Segarra expressed the club’s excitement over making ImagineAR as their Augmented Reality Partner, and he is enthusiastic about delivering remarkable fan engagement with them. As per the agreement, ImagineAR will present their partner with its Android and iOS SDK that completely integrates into the team’s mobile app. According to ImagineAR, the SDK will give the La Liga club a back-office reporting tool to gather marketing intelligence as well as insights.

The firm also noted that apart from the agreement’s monetary benefits, they will receive a vast exposure through branding and promotion via the following:

  • Becoming Valencia CF’s ‘Innovation Partner’ and VCF Innovation Hub’s member.
  • Every Valencia CF communication in the Innovation Partner division will include the brand.
  • U – Television system branding for all Copa S.M. del Rey and La Liga matches conducted in the club’s Mestalla Stadium.
  • Branding in Mestalla TV’s internal tv broadcasts, at the same stadium, during all the S.M. del Rey Cup and the national league championship matches, and additionally, during friendly contests as well as institutional acts celebrated in the stadium throughout the season.
  • Branding within VCF Innovation Hub’s videos, newsletters, and social networks.
  • Branding in the VCF Innovation Hub segment on the team’s official website.
  • One ImagineAR event at Mestalla Stadium’s VIP Box.
